'Welcome to our HOME' nameplate with acrylic pour art.

Hello crafty friends!
Daksha here today on the blog! Today's project is with Little Birdie acrylic pour paints. I have used 12" MDF circle base for my acrylic pour art...I have not started with any idea what I will create after pour art...but then slowly n gradually step by step idea stated pouring  and started taking shape in my mind and finally I have made a beautiful nameplate for my house..which I was planning to do but somehow wasn't getting time to do..😁
So here is the final picture of my project..

Let me explain the project step by step:
I started with 12" MDF circle base.. selected few shades of pouring paints. Then diluted each paint with pouring medium in disposable cups in half - half ratio.mix well with disposable spoons. Then I took one more disposable glass and added  each Colors in one by one layers and then flip the glass on the base , pour out  the whole Colors on the base. Then slowly by rotating and tilting the base  I spread the Colors and covered the whole base.
Here I have given white spray color on the base first.
Mixed pouring medium and pour paints in 1:1 ratio in disposable cups

Here after flipping the pour paints glass ..the end result...

Got beautiful shells which you can see in the above picture.
Here first I have selected one 3D painting with which I have done 3d volume decoupage..
This is the actual design..on which I have applied sospeso sheet..and once it dried did fussy cutting of each layers..
Here you can see different fussy cut pieces. On which I did volume decoupage and layered each fussy cut pieces.
Then took HOME chippies from little birdie..and did metal leafing on that.

On base I have used gold leafing on few places to give flow kind of look...I did stenciling with black color 'welcome to our' and then arranged the gold leafing letters HOME.and also placed 3D lotus .
Once my this base got ready...my mind changed n I converted this base into a name plate..and Iam very happy with the end result.😁

For the name plate I prepared this wood base as per my imagination..( my husband helped me in this , he got it made as I asked him.)
On that I did black gesso..and then black chalk paint..and after drying I applied two step crackle medium.. meanwhile when it was drying I prepared surname base..with little birdie metallic gold colour..( one of my most favourite)

I made this latkan kind of hanging from little birdie beads .. though I wanted to use bells but I didn't have in my stash so I used this hanging temporary..( will hang bells later when I will get it).

I had this resin Ganesha ( my daughter's friend gifted her) on which I did black Color and then used gold metallic wax.

Here on black wooden base .. after drying the two step crackle..I have used Little birdie  gold metallic wax..now you can see beautiful crackle effect...you can zoom picture to see lovely crackle effect.
Then roughly arranged everything on the black base..and once I was happy I arranged everything using hot glue gun...used nails in few places from the back to hold circle base n used hanging fitting at the back. Here is the final picture.

Hope you are still with me..and hopefully I have explained you my project properly... thank you for stopping by..see you soon again with my next project..till then happy crafting .
Love n hugs
Daksha

  3. Just as human glory is incomplete without a name and a designation, so too is a house without a plate of names, as if it were a testament to human success and dignity. So, go through the following site; will look at a clear view of many types of name plates for home .
