Calender layout-happy 2019

Hello crafty friends!

Happy 2019!
Happy & Prosperous New year!
Today it's 31 st December..and last day of 2018..so here is my post with 2019 calendar..saying bye bye to 2018 n welcoming 2019..

I have made a 12"x12" layout calendar. For the base I have used black thick 350 GSM cardstock on that I have used marble print pattern paper in light purple colour ,edges distress with distress tool. Then I did stenciling using DCAM 3D stencil and distress oxides in few places.
I got 2019 calendar printed n layered with black cardstock and placed on my layout in desired place..and then rest of the area decorated with DCAM word chiplets 'happy' .2019 is done with a big number stamp. Flowers I have used from DCAM ready to color images..on which I have used very easy colour technique ..as I wasn't in mood to colour the images..I distressed the whole images with dusty Concord distress ink and then try to remove color  with water brush..so you get this shaded water colour look. Then again edges distress after fussy cutting. Used stamped sentiments in few places like #craftylife #craftyfriends😁👍and create happiness today!
All the best for 2019..
Thank you
Love n hugs

Hello crafty friends!
Wishing you all merry Christmas..
Today I have tried  napkin decoupage card..I did decoupage many times on different surface n objects, but not on paper.. really love this technique....supplies you need very minimum..just paper, napkin print of your choice,glitter,glue..etc

Here you can see the 3D effect..I have used second cut of same print n stuck with  foam tape.
' Merry Christmas' I have used 5 diecuts n glued together n used to give that chipboard kind of raised look....I did this card in jiffy..just in 1 hour..but definitely going to try more designs...this card looks so pretty in real

Birthday calendar

Hello crafty friends,
Iam at Prika's blog as ' featured artist of the week'
Today I am sharing an accordion birthday calendar with step by step tutorial with images , but I must tell you in advance that this is a picture heavy post🙂

Step-1:
Take two piece of 7"X 7" cardstock  of your choice, score at 3/4"&11/2" on all four sides. Now cut four corners as shown in picture and stick with strong tacky tape to form a shadow box kind..
Take two piece of cardstock in 4"x4" size and  stick on the open side of shadow box.. prepare both  side boxes.

Step-2:
For 12 according pockets we need 12  piece of cardstock in size of 4"x8"..score each on 8" side at 2",6".. and fold each like gatefold cards..( see in pic) now stick 1"red tacky tape on two open flaps n join ..see picture.. to get idea. Prepare all 12 like these. Then join together with one after other by removing tacky tape.so will have 12 accordion pockets.

Step-3:
To support all 12 accordion pockets I have used cardstock at the base and then joined two boxes on two sides( see picture).I prefer to used red tacky tape as don't need to hold long but you can use any strong adhesive also.and now accordion box with 12 pockets ready.

Step:4
Now will make 12 flaps for 12 pockets. Take 3.75"X 4:5" cardstock and using punch board I have made tabs on top of all..these 12 flaps will have 12 months calender on one side n birthday list of that month  on other side. Our accordion  birthday calendar is ready..and you can decorate as per your choice or style..

Got printout of 2019 calender  from net n used
To decorate my birthday calendar I have used one of my favourite papers -Mintay papers "celebrations" pack .after selecting papers I did fussy cutting and layering of papers  to decorate both sides.
I have distress all edges n papers with vintage photo distress ink
Used emblisments, flowers, lace ,pearls, metal legs and sentiments from my stash..I always keep few stamped sentiment ready in my stash..
Thank you for stopping by.. hope you are still with me and reading this post till the end😁 n hope I have  explained  this project properly..still if you have any doubts feel free to contact me.
Love n hugs
