Beach theme projects with stone texture paste

Hello crafty friends! Iam DT Daksha on the blog today with my two projects with the theme of this month..if you don't know then let me tell you that this month's challenge theme is... project using Little Birdie stone texture paste...and here are my two projects..

I really enjoyed working with this stone texture paste..it gives very pretty grainy and sandy effect...
Earlier I have done similar kind of project and that time I have used sand but it was quite messy n didn't get such a nice grainy effect...using this stone texture paste is so easy just apply it in required place and done.
Frankly using this stone texture paste was so much fun that I couldn't stop myself trying another project.. infact my mind is full with two three more similar theme project..but had to stop myself as my stone texture paste almost got finish with these two projects 😛😁

Project #1: Ocean theme display photo frame

Step by step instructions for photo frame:
#1- first I removed backing paper from the acrylic photo frame and used white paper so that I can have a clear view.
#2- then I have applied stone texture paste at the bottom part. When it was still wet at that time only I have stuck shells using gel medium.
#3- filled inbetween gaps with tiny shells, texture stones, mini pellets, pearls and let it dry overnight.

#4-next day I was so happy with the sand effect that I thought to add one more step to my project.
#5- I took little birdie resin and hardener and mixing blue ,white Colors gave blue ocean and white waves look...rest of the frame part I have used clear mixture so that when I put any picture it is visible through.
#6- on blue resin mixture area I have sprinkled little white sand and glitter and let it dry overnight...all the time I was excited to see  the end result with a photo..as I have already decided to use one😁

Here is my display photo frame with a photo of my son in Puri beach..goes so perfect with this frame

Project# 2 : Ocean theme mixed media bottle

Step by step instructions for ocean them mixed media bottle:

#1-first I cleaned and dried a glass bottle.
#2-then gave a coat of heavy gel medium and let it dried properly.
#3- once it dried properly I gave a layer of chalk paints using sponge only( no brush).
#4 - when my color layer dried I gave a layer of decoupage glue to secure my color layer.
#5- then I took a fish net and cut it in required size and stuck on the bottle using heavy gel medium.
#6- then applied Little Birdie stone texture paste all around the net area only.
#7- now I wanted to stuck shells on net..but with gel medium I have to hold each shells..so I have used air dry clay..which I have filled inside the hollow base or stuck at the flat base shells n then using little gel medium stucked on required placed.
#8- inbetween gaps I have used tiny shells, texture stone, craft mini pellets and pearls.

#9- to give white waves look I applied white crackle paste on top and bottom part of the bottle.
#10-gave white color highlights on few places and brushed gold paint on top neck part.
#11- then gave a coat of spray varnish..to fix all tiny things.
#12- Finally decorated top part of bottle with natural jute strings and metal charms.
Thank you for stopping by.. hope you are still with me and enjoying my picture heavy posts😛😉..but I try my best to explain each steps with details..
Love n hugs
