Altered Bottle lampshade with filament decoupage paper
Hello crafty friends!
Today I am sharing an altered bottle lamp shade with decoupage and clay work with moulds...using Itsy bitsy filament decoupage paper... I am not writing much as I am sharing step by step pictures so you will get the idea...
First I have taken a clean glass bottle and did white gesso mixing little clear varnish.
Once gesso dried I stuck the decoupage papers on both sides using decoupage glue. Then colored the bottle using matching chalk paint( had to mix 2-3 shades to get that color).then did little stencil work using brick stencil..at this stage I wasn't sure about clay work 😀...Then using sakura air dry clay and moulds I designed on the bottle on both sides.
Once clay work dried.. I have painted middle inbetween clay portion with snow white chalk paint.
After a day or two I have used a coat of aquadur clear varnish on full bottle.
Finally on top I have fixed lampshade fitting..and my bottle lampshade is ready...though photogh is not doing justice, beleive me in real it looks very beautiful
❤️
Iam ready with my another altered bottle will share in my next post till then you all take care, stay safe and happy crafting. Thank you for stopping by.
